WHAT IS THE JUNIOR ACADEMY?
Our Junior Academy is for all U7-U8 players. As many players may elect to pursue travel/competitive soccer at U8 and above, we make it our mission. to provide a professional environment to prepare those players for their next step. At the same time, many players may choose to remain on the intramural path. Our professional coaching staff will ensure that both fun and development are at the very center of the experience for all players, regardless of their experience or aspirations.
Coaches will follow a curriculum to ensure players are learning on a weekly basis within small-sided games. Within our player-centered environment, coaches allow players the opportunity to experiment, try things, and make their own decisions. There are also no referees or standings, with an emphasis on attempting new skills rather than winning.
Players are not placed on set teams and there are no standings. Staff and/or volunteer coaches will manage game days by rotating players on a weekly basis to provide different experiences and keep the focus on fun and development, rather than results.
All of our staff are qualified soccer coaches with experience working in these age groups.
