Our Most Competitive Teams
Premier and Gold are the top team in each age group, our most competitive travel teams. The difference between the two is the level they compete at: Premier teams play in regional leagues such as EDP and ACELA, while Gold teams compete at the top of local and state leagues such as ICSL and ROCK.
Every age group is built in tiers, from the top team down. Same club, same professional coaching, same crest. The tier just tells you which team and what level of competition. Here's the ladder, top to bottom.
Regional leagues like EDP & Acela + State Cups. Best for the most advanced players ready for the highest level.
Top of local & state leagues like ICSL & ROCK . Strong first-team players competing at a high level.
The second team, one step below the first, with pro coaching, league play & tournaments. Best for committed players building toward the first team.
The third team, developing toward the next level. Best for players stepping into travel soccer and growing fast.
The short version: a group's first team plays as Premier or Gold depending on the level it's ready for; Blue is the second team and Green is the third. Every tier gets the same professional coaching, and players move up as they develop.
Premier & Gold
In every age group, the first team plays as Premier or Gold. The designation reflects the level of competition the team is ready for.
Premier
The top first teams, competing at a regional level in leagues such as EDP and APL ACELA, with tournaments and State Cups against strong regional competition.
Gold
Also a first team, competing at the top of local and state leagues such as ICSL and ROCK. First teams not yet ready for the Premier level carry the Gold designation.
